Roaring Skies, released in May 2015 as part of the XY series, is a landmark set featuring the iconic Mega Rayquaza-EX and establishing several key cards that shaped the competitive landscape of that era. The set's relatively small 112-card count and limited print run compared to modern standards have contributed to significant scarcity, particularly for high-grade specimens. Collectors view this set as a cornerstone of XY-era investing due to its competitive relevance and nostalgia factor.

Investment Outlook Bullish Strong sustained demand for chase cards like M Rayquaza-EX and Shaymin-EX, combined with limited supply from a 2015 release, supports continued price appreciation.

Reprint Risk Low The XY series era cards have not seen reprints in modern sets, and Roaring Skies' vintage status makes major reprints unlikely in the near term.
