Frequently Asked Questions
What counts as a sealed product?
Anything still in its original wrapping that nobody has opened. Booster boxes, Elite Trainer Boxes, bundles, tins, blisters and collection boxes all count. People hold them sealed because once a set stops being printed the supply only shrinks, and a box nobody has picked through is worth more than one that has been opened.
Where do the prices come from?
Recent TCGplayer sales and listings. We save a price point every day, so you can see how a product has moved over months instead of only what it costs this morning.
How accurate are the predictions?
They are estimates built from a product's own price history, not advice about what to buy. Sealed prices swing on things no model sees coming, like a reprint, a set leaving standard, or a run on a box after one of its cards spikes. Treat a prediction as one input and make your own call.
How often does the data update?
Prices refresh automatically on a regular sync. History builds up as we go, so the longer we have tracked a product, the more its chart can tell you.
Why can I not find a product?
We only cover sealed product, so single cards and code cards are out. Past that, it is usually because the product is too new to have a price yet, or our source has not picked it up. The catalog updates regularly, so it is worth checking back.
