Not Financial or Investment Advice

Poke Forecast provides AI assisted Pokemon card price predictions and market analysis for informational purposes only.

Nothing on pokeforecast.com should be treated as financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any Pokemon card, collectible, security, or asset.

Pokemon cards can rise in value, but they can also fall fast. The market is speculative. Prices can change because of reprints, hype cycles, economic conditions, grading trends, collector demand, or sudden shifts in the hobby.

Past performance does not guarantee future results.

Always do your own research before buying, selling, grading, or holding any card. If you are making a serious financial decision, speak with a qualified financial or investment professional.

Never spend more than you can afford to lose on collectibles.

AI Generated Predictions

The Poke Forecast tool uses artificial intelligence to analyze available Pokemon card market data and generate price predictions.

These predictions are designed to be useful, but they are not guarantees.

AI can be wrong. Market data can be incomplete. Live pricing sources can return stale, limited, or misleading information. Low volume cards can be especially difficult to forecast because there may not be enough recent sales to form a strong market signal.

Several factors can affect card prices in ways no prediction tool can fully anticipate, including:

Unexpected reprints or new product releases
Changes in competitive play demand
Collector sentiment shifts
Influencer driven price spikes
Broad market corrections
Economic weakness
Grading policy changes
Thin sales volume
Incorrect or incomplete market data
The natural limits of AI prediction models

Use Poke Forecast as a research tool, not a final answer.

Condition and Grade Accuracy

Poke Forecast supports predictions for raw and graded Pokemon cards. The accuracy of each prediction depends heavily on choosing the correct condition or grade.

For raw cards, condition generally follows standard Pokemon TCG marketplace categories:

Mint
Near Mint
Lightly Played
Moderately Played
Heavily Played

Mint and Near Mint cards should show little to no visible wear. Lightly Played cards may have minor edge wear, light scratches, or small surface flaws. Moderately Played cards show more obvious wear. Heavily Played cards may have significant whitening, creases, dents, or other damage.

Condition matters because two copies of the same card can have very different values.

A Heavily Played copy may sell for far less than a Near Mint copy. A clean raw card may carry grading upside that a worn copy does not. A PSA 10 can sell for several times the raw Near Mint price, while a PSA 9 may trade in a much lower range.

For graded cards, predictions are tied to the grading company and numeric grade selected. PSA, CGC, and BGS cards do not always trade the same way, even at similar grades.

Always verify the actual condition or grade of a card before making any buying or selling decision.
